Writing can help you track your progress.

Once again I woke to the patter of tiny feet. A tiny splash of water hit my forehead as Pep tapped my forehead and said, “You know, I really do feel better after drinking more water. Thanks, Sonia!”

“Oh Pep, I am so glad you are getting your elfish energy back! Instead of just telling me at 4am, you could also consider journaling your thoughts. It just takes a few minutes to write how you are feeling and and what was going on in your day. Over time you can start to see connections between improved health habits and happiness, or even discover things that take away your joy and bring stress in a way you had not previously considered. It can also be a great place to write your goals to make them concrete and achievable!”

“Got it, coach! Got a pen?”
